Chopper

A tremolo effect that modulates the amplitude of a source. The rate, depth and waveform type is controllable.

Chopper is a post-effect which affects the sound of a Source by simply turning it’s volume up and down rapidly, creating a trembling or “chopped” effect.

In the Chopper’s options, ‘Rate’ sets the speed at which the volume changes, and ‘Depth’ sets the level of how much the volume changes. ‘Wave’ lets you select the waveform shape that the effect follows (sine, square, triangle, saw), and ‘Spread’ sets the mix between the effect altering just volume, and altering the panning - rapidly moving between the left & right speakers.
