Phaser

A stereo modulation effect which creates sweeping or pulsing sounds by filtering the signal to contain a series of peaks & troughs in the frequency spectrum.

Phaser is a post-effect. It affects the sound of any connected Source blocks by adding a series of peaks and troughs to it’s frequency spectrum, and then modulating those over time, creating a sweeping or pulsing effect, depending on the Rate and Width.

The effect can range from subtle movement, to more chaotic and “crunchy” pulsing.

In it’s options, ‘Rate’ sets the speed of the sweep, ‘Width’ sets how much of the frequency spectrum the sweep uses, ‘Frequency’ sets the base frequency in the frequency spectrum that the sweep starts from, and ‘Mix’ sets the blend between the original signal and the effect.
