Effect

Effects make up the largest category of blocks in BlokDust. They connect to Source blocks to alter the source sound, creating interest, variety or expression.

The current Effect blocks in BlokDust are: Autowah, Bitcrusher, Chopper, Chomp, Chorus, Convolution, Distortion, Envelope, EQ, Filter, Vibrato, Phaser, Pitch Shifter, Reverb, ScuzzStereo Delay and Volume.

Effect blocks can connect to a Source block and alter that Source block’s sound. There are two categories of Effect: Pre-Effects, and Post-Effects.

Pre-Effects work by changing a property of the Source block itself. They include Envelope, Vibrato and Scuzz.

Post-Effects work by processing the sound that a Source block has created. They include Autowah, Bitcrusher, Chopper, Chomp, Chorus, Convolution, Delay, Distortion, EQ, Filter, Phaser, Pitch, Reverb and Volume.

Single-clicking on any Effect block will open up it’s options panel, where there are a range of individual settings to tailor that Effect.
